GNU/Linux is useful for far more than just 'hacking', check out r/linux_gaming and r/linuxmasterrace to meet fellow Linux users. When Kali starts up, it’ll give you a boot menu to let you choose how to run Kali. Make sure to select the USB drive as the boot device. Other distros are far more beginner friendly like Pop!_OS ( r/pop_os), Linux Mint ( r/linuxmint), and Ubuntu ( r/Ubuntu). Insert the USB drive into the computer that you want to install Kali on, and boot. Kali Linux isn't the best choice for learning the basics of GNU/Linux. Please consider removing your submission if you believe it better belongs in another subreddit.
